Determination Of List Of Medicines Compounded In The Pharmacies

In line with DHA directions to regulate procedures and practices of medication management and use in the Emirate of Dubai, Dubai Health Authority is currently preparing policies and procedures to control and standardize the compounding activities of medicines and pharmaceutical items in order to assure patient safety and adopt best technical and regulatory practices.

Thus, you are kindly requested to send a list of the pharmaceutical formulations of the medicines that are compounded in your esteemed organization. The list submitted should include the following information:

- Name of pharmaceutical formulation.

- Pharmaceutical dosage form of the final product.

- Detailed ingredients (including strength and dosage form of each ingredient).

- Quantities used from each ingredient.

- Expiration and BUD.

- Usage instruction and special directions.

- References
